Day 1

Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dadés Valley

On the 1st day of your journey, embark from Marrakech at 8 o'clock in the morning for an adventure through the majestic High Atlas, a captivating subrange of the Moroccan Atlas mountains. Traverse the Tizi N´Tichka pass, making stops to capture panoramic views and photograph the Berber villages seamlessly blending into the landscape. Continue south to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring its renowned Kasbah where iconic films like Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara were filmed. Enjoy free time for lunch in the town before progressing to Ouarzazate, known as "The gate of the desert." Here, marvel at the Taourirt kasbah, a striking example of Moroccan ksars. Journey through the Rose Valley via the expansive Skoura palm grove, boasting over 700,000 palms and numerous kasbahs. The valley is famous for cultivating damascene roses used in prized rosewater, with an annual Rose Festival in May showcasing Moroccan cultural festivities. Your day concludes in the enchanting Dades Valley, where you'll spend the night amidst its picturesque landscapes.

Day 2

Dadés Valley - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes - Camel Ride and Night in a Berber Tent

After breakfast, we'll soak in breathtaking views of the Dadées Valley from a strategic mountain lookout, offering a panoramic display of kasbahs and unique landscapes. Traveling along a well-paved road from Tinerhir, we'll explore the Todra Gorges, renowned for their striking scenery and rock formations, attracting rock climbers due to their challenging surfaces. During a brief stroll through the Todra Gorges, you'll have the opportunity to witness local life in adobe villages. Afterward, enjoy free time for lunch in Tinejdad or Touroug as we continue our journey towards the mesmerizing Merzouga Dunes. Upon arrival, embark on a one-hour camel ride through the captivating Erg Chebbi dunes to our nomadic camp. Before dinner, witness a spectacular sunset from the summit of a dune, culminating in a night spent in a tent beneath the enchanting starlit sky.

Day 3

Merzouga Desert - Ziz Valley - Cedar Forests and Monkey Troops of Azrou - Ifrane - Fes

Early in the morning, embark on a captivating journey to witness the sunrise in the heart of the Merzouga Desert—a surreal experience atop a dune near our camp. Following this breathtaking spectacle, a camel ride brings us back to Merzouga for a delightful breakfast. Once rejuvenated, our journey north commences through the expansive Tafilalet palm grove, the world's largest. The 20km road unfolds amidst thousands of palm trees, leading us to the Ziz Valley. This valley is nourished by the river flowing down from the High Atlas, offering a panoramic view of Aoufous from a high vantage point. A pause in Midelt, nestled in the heart of the Atlas, allows for a leisurely lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, we traverse the Cedar Woods, where fortunate encounters may reveal glimpses of monkeys. Our next destination is Ifrane, perched at 1630 meters on the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas. With its broad avenues, impeccable cleanliness, lush gardens, and distinctive architecture, Ifrane resembles a Swiss town, earning its moniker as the "Moroccan Switzerland." Adding to its allure, Ifrane boasts the Michlifen ski resort. By approximately 6 pm, we reach Fez, concluding our journey with a transfer to the hotel. This marks the end of our services.
