Marrakech – Tahnaout – Asni – Imi Oughlad Village 1500m – Tizi Ntacht Pass 2100m – Tizi Oussem Village 1900m
Embark on a journey from Marrakech at 8:30 AM, traversing Moulay Brahim gorge and ascending to the higher foothills of the western High Atlas Mountains. Starting at Imi Oughlad (1450m), enjoy a stunning backdrop of Jbel Toubkal (4167m). Upon reaching Imi Oughlad, connect with our Berber muleteer crew. Begin with a 2-hour acclimatization hike, reaching Tizi N’tacht Pass (2100m) for panoramic views of Imlil and Ait Oussaden valleys. Continue to Imi N’ifri for a field picnic. Descend for 2.5 hours to Tizi Oussem (1900m) for the night in a traditional gite.
Tizi Oussem Village (1750m) – Tizi Mzik Pass (2489m) – Imlil Valley (1740m)
Ascend from Tizi Oussem through a juniper forest to Tizi Mzik pass. Revel in a breathtaking panorama of the Imlil area. Descend to a charming lunch spot shaded by ancient walnut trees. Continue to the village of Imlil, concluding the day's adventure covering approximately 5 hours on foot.
Imlil 1740m - Waterfalls 1900 - Chamharouch 2350m
After breakfast, embark on a day excursion from Imlil to stunning waterfalls, immersing yourself in the natural beauty. Move upward to Chamharouch, adding cultural and historical significance to your experience. Lunch at Chamharouch. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive back to Marrakech, savoring the memories of Imlil's landscapes and cultural treasures. Approximately 5 hours.
