Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech – Nekob – Handor

Embark on our journey from Marrakech as we transfer by coach to the enchanting Draa Valley, renowned for being the longest valley adorned with lush palm trees. Along the route, indulge in picturesque moments amidst the majestic Atlas Mountains. A delightful lunch awaits, with the option to savor it amidst the valley's scenic beauty or later in the quaint village of Nkob. In the afternoon, our adventure unfolds towards Handor, where a meeting with local muleteers and equipment carriers sets the tone for our trekking expedition. The nightfall marks our first stay on this memorable trek.

Day 2

Handor (1200m) – Irissi (1680m)

Embark on our trek, gradually ascending towards the Tifdassine valley, revealing its striking rocky ridge. As we reach the 1800m peak, we ascend the Tin Ouayour plateau, treating ourselves to breathtaking views of the surrounding formations. The descent guides us through a picturesque gorge, culminating in a campsite near the captivating ruins of Irissi. Immerse in the beauty of terraces adorned with almond flowers, capping off the day's journey. The trek spans approximately 7 hours and 30 minutes, offering a rich and rewarding adventure.

Day 3

Irissi (1680m) – Ighazzoun (1330m)

Embarking on a downward trek through a rugged valley, we encounter the nearly abandoned village of Berkou, where remnants of nomadic life tell a silent tale. Our path unfolds along the Win Telouine valley, tracing a river sculpted through an extended rock formation, ultimately guiding us to the village of Ighazzoun N’ Imlasen. The journey spans approximately 6 hours, unveiling the captivating landscapes and cultural echoes along the way.

Day 4

Ighazzoun (1330m) – Igli (1700m)

Embark on an awe-inspiring trek, traversing a vast circle enveloped by breathtaking mountain formations. Journey to the Tadaout N T’blah plateau, offering panoramic views of the majestic Saghro range. Descend through the enchanting valley d’Afourar, culminating in the charming village of Igli where our camp awaits. A fulfilling 6-hour hike awaits you on this remarkable day

Day 5

Igli (1700m) to Almou N Ouarg (2270m)

Embark on a captivating ascent through a mesmerizing lava flow, navigating between colossal blocks, culminating at the majestic Kouaouch hill (2592m). Revel in breathtaking panoramic vistas of the massif from this elevated vantage point. Our campsite near the Almou N Ouarg spring offers a tranquil setting. Expect an approximately 7-hour hike filled with awe-inspiring scenery.

Day 6

Almou N Ouarg (2270m) – Tagdilt (1690m)

Embark on an early journey for the ultimate ascent to the Ouarg pass. Begin a gradual descent leading to the charming village of Tagdilte, marking the culmination of the trek. Enjoy a scenic coach transfer to Marrakech, pausing for a delightful lunch en route. Arrive at the hotel/riad in Marrakech by late evening, concluding this unforgettable adventure.
