Marrakech - Imlil - Toubkal Refuge
Embark on a captivating 2-days Toubkal trek, commencing with a pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation. The journey leads to Imlil Valley at 1740m, the trek's outset, reached after an approximately 1.5-hour drive. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and enjoy a brief pause for traditional Moroccan tea. Begin the trek towards the basecamp at 3207m, traversing the Chamharouch shrine and breaking for a lunch prepared for you. Subsequently, ascend to the refuge where you'll spend the night, engaging in a rewarding 5 to 6-hour hike.
Toubkal Refuge - Toubkal summit - Imlil - Marrakech
On the summit day, commence with breakfast at the refuge before embarking on a 3-hour ascent to the 4167m summit. Revel in breathtaking views at the pinnacle for around 2 to 3 hours, followed by a descent back to the refuge. Enjoy lunch there before trekking back down via the same route to Imlil, a journey spanning approximately 4 to 5 hours. Today's adventure totals around 10 to 12 hours of walking.
